This year was extra special since there are five of them whereby normally only 2 or 3 spikes only. Brought the orchid about eight years ago and it started flower on the fifth year.

The tiger orchid, Grammatophyllum scriptum blooms again
I am so grateful that this orchid has been consistently flowering at about the same time every year, every early May till late June each blooms..
This year was extra special since there are five of them whereby normally only 2 or 3 spikes only. Brought the orchid about eight years ago and it started flower on the fifth year.

Tiger Orchid
Some kind of tiger orchid just blooming the morning.. searching the net.. found out most probably the species of Grammatophyllum scriptum var Kiilani
